Swimming Pool Renewal on Listed Building

Alterations in a Conservation Area Leicestershire

TDJ Construction carried out a recent project in which we made some internal alterations on a building in a conservation area. This was a challenging but rewarding project, as we had to work within the strict guidelines, while also meeting the needs and expectations of our customer.

The customer wanted to modernise the interior, but also preserve the character and charm of the original features. The project involved adding some new doors as well installing lighting, to create a more open and spacious layout. We are very pleased with the outcome of this project, as we managed to create a comfortable and contemporary living space, while also respecting and enhancing the heritage of the building. The customer was delighted with the result.

Garden Wall Market Harborough

We are proud to share one of our recent projects in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. We built a beautiful garden wall and step from reclaimed bricks, giving the property a rustic and charming look. The project involved careful planning, sourcing and laying of the bricks, as well as ensuring the wall and step were sturdy and safe. Collapsing Wall Replacement Northamptonshire

Here is another of our recent projects, a collapsing wall replacement and rebuilding for a customer in Northamptonshire. The customer contacted us after noticing cracks and bulges in their garden wall, which concerned them. We inspected the wall and found that it was beyond repair, so we advised the customer to replace it with a new one.

We removed the old wall carefully, making sure not to damage the surrounding area. We then built a new wall using high-quality bricks and mortar, following the customer’s specifications and preferences. The new wall is sturdy, durable and aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the value and security of the customer’s home.

Removal of Balcony in Listed Building Leicestershire.

TDJ Construction not only specializes in building and renovation projects, but we also have a great deal of experience working on listed buildings and in conservation areas. We have recently completed a challenging project in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, where we had to remove a balcony from a listed building that was also in a conservation area.

We used scaffolding and carefully dismantled it piece by piece, making sure not to damage the brickwork or the windows below. We then repaired and repointed the wall where the balcony was attached, using matching bricks and mortar.

The result was a stunning transformation of the building’s facade; the owner of the building was very pleased with our work. We are proud to have completed this project successfully, once again demonstrating our skills and expertise in working with listed buildings and conservation areas.

Window Installation Kettering

Renovations in Rothwell

For this project we returned to one of our customers to renovate their Victorian property. This included reinstating some of the original period features, such as fireplaces, doors, flooring, bespoke fire surrounds, lighting, bookcase and the addition of an ensuite to the Master bedroom
