Chimney Repairs to a Listed Building Leicestershire
We are proud to share with you one of our recent projects, where we carried out some chimney repairs on a listed building in a conservation area in Market Harborough. This was a challenging but satisfying project, as we had to work with the local authority and the conservation officer to ensure that the repairs were in keeping with the historic character and appearance of the building.
The chimney had suffered from weathering and deterioration over the years, and needed attention to prevent further damage and potential safety hazards. We had to respect the historical and architectural value of the property, while ensuring the safety and functionality of the chimney. We used traditional materials and techniques to restore the chimney to its original condition.
The result was a stunning and durable chimney that blends in with the character of the building and the area.
